The public announcement of
Oakland’s Green’s re-zoning approval

We’re delighted to announce that the State Government has approved Oaklands Green’s re-zoning application. This landmark go-ahead means work can now move from on paper to on the ground, with site works expected to begin in April this year.

The $135 million Oaklands Green housing initiative is the largest of its kind in South Australia, and is about to set the new standard for what a master planned community can deliver for a community and its residents.

What’s more, the development will provide over 1,200 new jobs and aligns directly with the State Government’s new Our Housing Future 2020-30 strategy to increase the supply of affordable housing and improved social housing dwellings for tenants.

Minister for Human Services Michelle Lensink said, “This multi-million-dollar redevelopment will renew, rejuvenate and revitalise the suburb and its surrounds.”
