The train station has won design awards,
and lots of fans!
The recently redeveloped Oaklands Park railway station and exchange sits on the Seaford line and gives Oaklands Green residents 20min access to the CBD.
Featuring excellent pedestrian access and extensive lighting – along with a bicycle parking station, public toilet and a new kiss ‘n’ drop’ spot on Murray Terrace – the new station has really taken onboard the needs of commuters.
But easy riders and day-trippers will all love the convenience too. Sitting almost directly at the halfway spot on the line, it’s as easy to pack up the kids and beach towels and head south to the sands, as it is to take a trip to town.
And it’s such an easy way to get straight into the heart of the festival and events action – no parking, no traffic and, of course, your train comes with a designated driver.
