Waterrific Fun!

Time to get the
toddlers into their togs

Nothing mixes like kids and water – and with the re-opening of the Marion Outdoor Pool centre and water park, just splash down for a wet and wild time.

The $4.5 million revamp features two slides starting from a 10m-high platform – one that’s 70m long, allowing young aquanauts to drop the full 10m and reach speeds over 30km/h!

The new water play park, with its 9.2m high and 20m wide centrepiece, has four slides, a 600-litre tipping bucket and water cannons.

Parents are also welcome to get their toes wet, but if you prefer dry land, the new facilities include new shade areas with BBQs and a new kiosk – there’s also a Balinese hut for hire for parties.

Remember, while your kids are having a splashing time, keep them sun-safe, with rash-tops and waterproof sunscreen.
